Welcome to our magical little shop!
Forest folk is a volunteer-run Waldorf inspired toy and gift shop. We are nestled in the bush on the grounds of the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School. Our ethos is natural, fair-trade and beautiful. The Steiner philosophy encourages creative and imaginative play with simple toys made from high quality natural materials. Our products are spun, whittled, felted, and knitted with love. We support local and handmade where possible.
We supply the best quality Waldorf style stationary and craft supplies. Our natural based crayons, paints and craft supplies are perfect for everyone, from the littlest of hands to the most renowned artists. We also stock a range of high quality felting and doll making supplies

Our Story
Forest folk was founded as a way to fundraise for the running costs of the Titirangi Steiner School. What started as a small handmade crafts store, has grown to be the whimsical little shop you see today.
Behind the scenes a group of enthusiastic Steiner school mums work tirelessly not only to support our school; but also to bring the beauty of the Steiner philosophy to the wider community through our toys and craft supplies. We have a passion for natural products and magical crafts and we would love to share this enthusiasm with you,
